Are You Forgetting Your Maintenance Care?

While we commonly treat acute injuries from the slips, falls, or lifting tweaks many of our patients incur, it is important that you don't forget to receive regular chiropractic adjustments for the purpose of maintenance. By far and away, the healthiest people we see are those that utilize our services to 'stay' healthy rather than 'get' healthy.

Every function of your body is under control of your nervous system, which is comprised of your brain, spine, and spinal nerves that travel to all parts of your body.  Its function is to coordinate all your organs and structures and when it is free from interference, the body functions at its maximum level.  We adjust your spine to keep it freely moving and remove any nervous system interference.

What does this mean to you?  It means that not only can your body move more freely without pain, you breathe better, you digest your food better, you think better, you sleep better, and you are more productive in your daily life at work at home.

Did you know?  A study done by George Bakris, MD, director of the University of Chicago Hypertension Center, shows that a specific chiropractic adjustment can significantly lower blood pressure better than the two leading blood pressure medications given in combination. (Journal of Hypertension, March 16, 2007). This is just one of many examples of how maintenance chiropractic care can positively affect your life.

You can choose to be a health conscious patient that is proactive rather than reactive.  While we don't impose strict treatment schedules on our patients, we highly recommend monthly or every other month maintenance check ups to keep your body functioning at its highest capacity and feeling vibrant and full of energy.
